A WMA Athlete:

  • Reflects the spirit of Mercy;
  • Stresses the Christian value of fair play;
  • Respects authorities, teammates and opponents;
  • Exhibits grace in victory and dignity in defeat.

At Waldron Mercy Academy, athletics goes beyond sports, and embodies the mind, body and spirit by promoting sportsmanship and building community.

We instill a love of sports starting at an early age. We live our mission by teaching our students to give their best effort, be merciful while competitive and learn how to help others by being a part of a team.

We field more than 20 co-ed and single sex teams in 11 sports and compete in the Catholic Athletic League (CAL) and Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) conferences where Waldron Mercy is known for being both a strong contender and a respectful opponent.

The lessons learned on the field and court compliment those in the classroom and support each student’s growth as a well-round young adult.
